Introduction

The Board of Directors of Econet InfraCo is pleased to present the Company’s quarterly trading update following its listing by way of introduction on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX). This update provides shareholders and the investing public with an overview of the Company’s trading performance and key operational developments during the reporting period.

Business Overview: Tower, Power, Property

The business operates as a fully integrated infrastructure platform, bringing together three complementary, vertically aligned business pillars: Tower Infrastructure (TowerCo), Power Infrastructure & Services (PowerCo) and Property Holdings (PropertyCo).

Following the historic VFEX listing, the Company has achieved meaningful operational milestones across all three business pillars during the quarter. The core strategic thrust of the business remains the deployment of new operational sites and towers to support the Tower & Power business segments. Key highlights in the quarter included the deployment of ninety (90) new base station sites, coupled with the progressive deployment of solar systems to new and existing sites.

During the quarter, we expanded the use of AI to improve predictive generator maintenance, optimise fuel utilisation, and enhance infrastructure reliability. The phased rollout of our AI Fuel Manager has reduced energy consumption whilst improving availability and uptimes. Our AI-enabled Remote Monitoring System (RMS) and tower Digital Twin initiatives have continued to advance, increasing our technology efficiency.

TowerCo – Tower Infrastructure

The primary operational focus for this business unit remained the deployment of new sites to cater to the capacity and coverage requirements of our new and existing customers. The new site deployments are strategically designed to drive revenue growth through a capital-efficient colocation model, with an active pipeline of new tenant negotiations underway.

PowerCo – Power Infrastructure

Through PowerCo, Econet InfraCo provides reliable, sustainable power services to both telecom and non-telecom clients. For our telecom clients, our operational strategy is centred on the progressive deployment of solar energy to sites. This strategic pivot reduces reliance on diesel generators and mitigates the effects of erratic grid supply.

While geopolitical disturbances in the Middle East have introduced diesel supply uncertainties in various international markets, the Zimbabwean market has fortunately not experienced supply disruptions. However, this global situation has driven an increase in the local cost of diesel. Consequently, our solar deployment programme forms a critical measure implemented by the business to ensure continued energy supply and operational resilience.

The company also continues to pursue its offering across diverse customer segments of energy-as-a-service. A key development during the quarter was the commencement of Phase One of the 100MW solar farm. Once fully operational, this facility will supply clean, renewable energy to developments within the Econet Tech City.

PropertyCo – Real Estate

The PropertyCo division delivered a positive performance during the quarter, with the real estate portfolio generating steady rental yields in line with prevailing market conditions. Progress on our flagship development, the TechCity in Harare and Victoria Falls Lifestyle Villas, remains on schedule per our targeted timelines. Ground-breaking for both projects is targeted for the fourth quarter of the financial year. The company has already received expressions of interest from various sectors for both projects, indicating strong market uptake once the different units become available.

Financial Performance

As this is the Company’s inaugural trading update following its VFEX listing, no prior period comparatives are available. Detailed financial results will be published as part of the half-year report for the period ending 31 August 2026. The Board notes that financial performance for the quarter remains materially in line with projections, and that there have been no material changes to the Company’s financial position since the publication of the Pre-Listing Statement. The Board remains confident in the Company’s ability to deliver sustainable and growing returns as the business scales.

The business has reinvested 17% of generated revenue into funding capital projects.

Outlook

Priorities for the remainder of the financial year include continued expansion of the tower portfolio and acceleration of the solar power programme. With groundbreaking on both TechCity and Victoria Falls Lifestyle Villas targeted for Q4, we anticipate market uptake to build steadily, in line with our strategic vision of unlocking distinct asset value through focused infrastructure development.
